Hi, my name is Tamra Fleming, and I would like to share how the Life Architecture® concept evolved. For the past few years I've been exploring the inner archirtecture of people's lives in relationship to their space. Consistently, I am shown how physical space mirrors current life patterns and conditions. This fascinated me and in 2002, I launched into in-depth independent study to learn more about how the house is reflective of life. In that search I found the book, House as Mirror of Self, by Clare Cooper Marcus. Unbeknownest to me, there had been a movement that had started in the 70's of architects exploring this very relationship. With deeper research, I found a few obscure studies and books on the subject dating back to the 40's. Most of this research discusses how "things" are reflective of our society and life choices. Because the American culture is primarily driven by materialism, these studies reveal a number of cultural and social patterns. When developing the Life Architecture® process, many of these patterns became somewhat predictable, but some remained completely individual. My "field experiences" in client's lives and homes revealed a truth about how our space is a direct reflection of conscious and unconscious thoughts. This continuous proof propelled me to create Life Architecture®, an intentional process to align your chosen home with the goals and dreams of your life so that your physical world can act as a "re-mind-er" of what you cherish and want to create! As a culture, what we haven't completely grasped yet is that by reading your own home (kind of like palm reading--but for your space), you can change your life for the better by interpreting current symbols and metaphors and then shifting them where desired! Life Architecture is not another version of Feng Shui; or, some version of decorating using energy principles; or, even some form of restyling the home interior to make life better. The Life Architecture® process is a deeply effective experience with a track record of results that are now available to individuals, couples and families who seek personal shift, and the desire to create peace, vitality and flow within daily life.
